Applications in Database Management

Course Objectives:

  • The benefits and how to convert paper files to electronic files.
  • Scientific basis in the management of databases.
  • The concept of the non-paper-based information network (Intranet).
  • Different types of storage media and operating systems with a focus on Supercomputing (Main frame)
  • The relationship between database design and the nature of the inputs and outputs of the organization and how to address problems and make courses.
  • Integrate this course with the above consideration in the courses of management information systems and systems analysis and design, as well as course support systems.
  • Project: Each student information system development using MS Access.

  • Introduction: The database environment, the development of databases
  • Graphic design relationships and data units,
  • Expanded form of the scheme of data units, logical design of the database, the physical design of the database,
  • Structural query language,
  • Connect to the database from client applications. ,
  • Database management,
  • Security information in the databases
