About the management Information Systems Division

The division of Management Information Systems is established in 1431H with the beginning of the Department of Computer and Information Technology, and it grants Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems in four years. The aim of the division is to prepare graduate specialists in the field of management information systems leading to improved access to data and analysis, management and delivery to decision makers, aimed at programs offered by the division to prepare graduates with the skills and competencies to enable them to succeed in life. The Division is equipped with a group of computer labs which are used in the areas of teaching and scientific research. The Division seeks to provide programs in management information systems to be pioneering and distinguished in the Kingdom by continuing to develop quality and efficiency of educational curricula. And preparing students to be able to enter the labor market, information technology, through the capabilities and competencies gained during the study and to cover the needs of institutions in this area, as well as to continue to support faculty members and motivate them to pursue scientific research in order to serve the community. The Division also hires highly qualified staff members which contributes to prepare distinguished students in the MIS field The academic plan was set to provide students with the necessary skills to apply knowledge in the field of MIS.
