About the Division of Information Technology

The Division of Information Technology (IT) is established in 1431 AH. With the beginning of the Department of Computer and Information Technology and it grants Bachelor of Science degree in information technology over five years. The programs offered by the division aims to prepare graduates with the skills and competencies to enable them to succeed in life.
Division is seeking to raise the level of scientific research and teaching linked to the environment and the needs of local and regional as well as disseminate knowledge and promote research collaboration with local institutions and regional and international levels. Where the Division is to provide students with the knowledge of general and specialized and Practice skills necessary to enable them to use modern technology by introducing the decisions of a variety of academic in information technology in basic and applied at the level of first degree that combines excellence and modernity and to respond to the needs of the community and the labor market, where the Division is to prepare students and rehabilitation of qualified technicians and by focusing on the Practice aspects and applied through an integrative and interactive environment which enhances the competitiveness of graduates in obtaining employment opportunities.
