Networks Administration

Course Objectives:

This course gives the concepts to be applied and the basic process of management and use of data networks. Deals with technical subjects, and concepts related to data networks also deals with administrative aspects pertinent to the management and regulate the use of data networks. It also provides the student with the skills to be functional for a comparison between different techniques in the field of data networks and the ability to set conditions to choose between different designs of networks and knowledge of appropriate alternatives.

Course Content:

1. Determine the requirements of networks and users
2. Assets and methods of preparation of feasibility studies and technical studies for data networks
3. Basic concepts for the design of data networks
4. Selection criteria between the various components.

5. Methods of assessment of technical networks and the foundations of the comparison and selection, including
6. Mechanisms for evaluating the performance of networks and calibration to improve efficiency
7. Management web users accounts.
8. Determine the distribution of powers and resources on the Web

Skills expected from this course:

Upon finishing of this course the student is expected to has:
1. The ability to study, analyze and identify the needs of users of the network.
2. Technical skills necessary for the preparation of feasibility studies and studies to build a functional data networks and know the content and format of these reports.
3. Full knowledge of the methods of comparison and choice between different technologies for data networking.
4. Ability to prepare operational plans for the establishment of data networks.
5. Technical skills to evaluate network performance, analyze and propose solutions to improve performance.
6. Knowledge management techniques and methods of use of the network and the identification and granting of powers and the distribution of resources on the network depending on the needs of the users studied.
