About the Information Systems Division

The Division of Information Systems (IS) is established in 1431 AH. With the beginning of the department of Computer and Information Technology and it grants Bachelor of Science degree in information systems over five years. The aim of the programs offered by the division is to prepare graduates with distinct skills and competencies to enable them to succeed in life.
Division is seeking to raise the level of scientific research and teaching linked to the environment and the needs of local and regional as well as disseminate knowledge and promote research collaboration with local institutions and regional and international levels. Where the Division is to provide students with the knowledge of general and specialized and Practice skills necessary to use modern technology by introducing a variety of academic courses of information systems in basic and applied at the level of first degree that combines excellence and modernity and to respond to the needs of the community and the labor market, where the Division prepare students and rehabilitation of qualified technicians and by focusing on the Practice aspects and applied through an integrative and interactive environment which enhances the competitiveness of graduates in obtaining employment opportunities.
To achieve the vision of the Division, which is seeking to achieve a distinguished position among universities in the region by providing an academic environment a positive aim to provide education and distinctive programs focus on scientific research in addition to developing the ability of the student scientific and requirements of the labor market and focus on the main software engineering and web applications, databases and data mining.
